Environmental Science - Soil Water and Biodiversity 

Water is the main carrier of substances in the terrestrial environment and connects it to the atmosphere, the aquatic environment, and the biosphere, as plants and microorganisms take up nutrients and substrate through the aquatic phase. Ecosystem stability and animal and human health are strongly affected by the quality of water in streams, lakes, oceans, and groundwater as well as indirectly via feed and food. This creates a tight link between land use, water quality, soil quality, and animal and human health. In this context, the European and international job market needs experts with knowledge of soil, water, biodiversity and environmental management.
